Holiday Time……
That time again….. and just in case we are not here after Friday 
This will be my last post until the end of January 2013, time for my trip back home and all the hustle & bustle of Xmas.
The hotels and shopping malls here in Oman have their Christmas Trees decorated and switched on (very festive) even the odd Father Christmas can be seen. Contrary to popular opinion, especially in some of the media (UK for instance) Christmas is openly celebrated here by those of the Christian faith and the two churches in Muscat will be holding carol services. Oman is a very tolerant society and most are just happy seeing people enjoy themselves.
So a Very Merry Xmas & A Happy New Year.
Yes, I must admit I wondered if Christmas was even heard of in Oman (what ignorance….)! So, have a very merry Christmas, David. All the best, :O)

Happy holiday! By the way, since we have so many muslim and other imigrants in Norway the norwegian schools don’t have a christmas assembly in the churches when they finish school for X-mas holidays anymore, and the public television don’t mention Jesus or anything christian now during December (Advent), because they are afraid to offend anybody. I don’t think they know that for muslims (and maybe others religions) another religion is better than no religion. ( I am more of a no religion myself, but enjoy some traditions)..
Yes we have the same in UK, sad really because it is all so misplaced.
